Soggy Sunday!

Cor blimey! :-0 The rain here in Newcastle is craaaazzzzyyy! I mean….is it ever gonna stop?

I often find it really difficult to move my butt on a rainy Sunday but today, Phil and I managed a little outing (after a giant lie in!), protected by waterproofs and wellies :-) We headed to the village of Corbridge, for tea and scones and then to a local farm shop, where we were gonna go raspberry picking but found that we were two weeks too early. Instead, we amused ourselves in other ways…..

Yup….we live to take daft pictures involving farm vehicles and then laugh at them afterwards.
I had the strongest coffee ever right before these photos were taken, hence the extra energy!

And now, back at home, I’m topping up my caffiene level and am savouring a fresh truffle made by Booja Booja. Mmmm! Raw. Vegan. Delicious! They are actually Phil’s favourite chocolates in the whole wide world!!

Anyhoo…I’m gonna head over to your wonderful blogs to brighten this dreary day :-) ….

…..oh and I need to figure out what I’m gonna make out of a mango and a melon..hhhmmmmm!!!?

  1. Ooh make muffins! Anything tastes good in muffin form :) or a much easier and probably more likely to succeed method would be a smoothie.

You are too funny. I love the photos that you and Phil take! So goofy and I love it.

  2. My favorite things to make with mango are mango lassi smoothies and mango salsa (finely diced mango, red onion, cilantro and lime juice) yummm.

I wish we’d get a rainy day here soon!

  3. Girl, you are too stinking cute! And flexible! I’m loving your boots! Rain/snow boots are my favorite and I live in Florida and don’t get to wear them often:(
