EXPOSE!! The truth about health bloggers

Evening Ladies!
I come forward with my hands held high. I admit it. You have here the WORST health blogger EVER!! It’s actually pretty funny when you look at the evidence for this case…

Subject 1 – caffeine overload. Yup, these were my beverages of choice during yesterday’s lunch date with Phil. Let’s just say that there were ZZZzzzzs coming outta my head and I needed to scrape my face off the table!

Subject 2 – Chasing the Zs away. Not only did the caffeine wake me up but it kept me up….practically all blummin night. You may have noticed my random tweets in the middle of the night. Yerp….that was me. Tweeting the night away, committing health crime number two. Not getting enough sleep.

Subject 3 – Good vegan gone bad. There I am again. Caught on camera. Yesterday I ate dairy. Just because. Did I suffer afterwards? Well let’s just say that those intolerance tests must’ve been right because BOY my stomach wasn’t happy. Ouch!

Subject 4 – Getting the Fruit and Veg in. Fruit…CHECK- in the form of a poached pear and raspberries purchased from the reduced section at Waitrose. Non dairy dessert- CHECK- vegan Choc and Soyatoo. Veg…..erm…..do cocoa beans count as veg? Hmm….ok so I confess. Guilty as charged. Not a single vegetable passed my lips today. And that really isn’t like me at all. I guess it was just a fruity kinda day! And that includes my breakfast of fresh pineapple, alpro soya vanilla, kashi golean and a good old mug o’ Joe ;-)

Bad health blogger. Guilty. (bang) Sentenced to kitchen service. You must eat more veg tomorrow! ;-)

Have you ever gone a day without eating any fruit and veg? Did it feel kinda strange?
I kinda wanna go and eat a tomato just because!

Ooh….the poached pear dessert was AMAZING! Phil actually made it and now I love him just a little bit more.

Chocolatey poached pears

Poach a peeled pear or two in some simmering water. Drop some raisins into the pan to soften as the water bubbles gently. Once soft, Drizzle the pears with vegan chocolate and add the raisins. Eat. Yum :-)
