 Career Progress of Gary McGaghey  as A Global Chief Financial Officer

Gary McGaghey is an International competent Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with over 15 years experience in the field, and a proven track of success through outstanding leadership and organizational skills.

In September 2019, Gary McGaghey became a member of the Williams Lea Tag, a private equity firm operated by PE Group and Advent International. He is the Chief Financial officer and was responsible for Budgeting, overseeing, managing track of records, stock and financial merging, balance sheet restructuring.

Gary learned Commerce at the university of natal, where he earned his undergraduate degree and a post-graduate degree from the University of South Africa. Gary also became a member of the professional accounting body through the chartered Institute of accounts. In 2014, he was awarded a Non-Executive Director Diploma from the Financial Times.

Gary McGaghey, in his early days, started his career path by working with Robertson. He worked with some of these Robertson enterprises: The Robertsons Foods, Robertsons Homecare, and Baker Street Snacks production industry from 1993 to 2002. Gary was the Chief Operating Officer, CFO, Vice President of Logistics, Audit Committee Member, and Group Board Member at the firms.

Gary McGaghey, later in April 2002, went on to work at Unilever, where he played a role in CFO, Vice President of Finance, Global Manager and Acquisitions (M&A) Director, and Interim CEO of the Firm at South Africa. His job post was in South Africa, but he moved from South Africa to the United Kingdom and Switzerland as his career grew.

Gary McGaghey served his last position in Unilever as CFO of the Pepsi Lipton International Joint Venture. McGaghey later moved to Nelsons in May of 2017 and became the Group CFO and a Statutory Director, Company Secretary, and Executive Board Member for more than two years.
